Dear Parents
You will be pleased to know that Rajasthan Mahila Mahavidyalaya has been working since session 2007-08 and is popularly known as RPS Girls College.
Recently many innovations have been made to this college. Current cruelties against women have made us to feel that still woman is considered as a weak, timid and a passive creature. Latest atrocities against this God’s best and favorite creature have made us to join hands to improve their conditions. Consequently, I brood over the topical issue- How can rural girls be secure? I feel, educational institutions play a pivotal role in making them feel secure and sound.
I, strongly believe, imparting qualitative education in a disciplined way to girls in Mahavidyalayas located in rural areas instead of cities and towns will enable them to play a better role in society.



So, understanding the feelings of the parents regarding safety of their beloved daughters, I came up with the idea of setting up RPS Girls College to provide education to the rural daughters in a safe, secure, serene and conducive environment.

RPS Girls College is committed to bring a loud change in “Women Empowerment”. Our mission is to install and develop self-confidence and courage in every girl child so that she can face society boldly and to guide them to become ideal citizens of the nation. I want to establish this college as one of the most efficient platforms for promoting women education and imbibing a sense of healthy competition among the girls so that they don’t lag behind the boys in any field. I do believe that “educating a girl child means educating two families”.

One more thing – I need a favor from you. You are the best ambassadors of RPS Girls College. Encourage your friends and family members to come and join this Mahavidyalaya. Really, at RPS Girls College education is a great learning experience.

I, assure you that your daughter is an asset for us and every care will be taken to let her express herself freely and confidently in RPS Girls College in a safe and secure environment. I will leave no stone unturned in reposing your faith you have shown in us in the past years. I seek your same enthusiasm and trust in us in the coming years, so that collective and concerted efforts can be made to give voice to the girls for their upliftment and betterment.
